Various Sales and Bidding roles

NM Group offer a range of innovative products and services that provide turnkey solutions to specific and identifiable problems faced by those managing large infrastructure networks, delivering efficiency, reliability and safety improvements.

These innovative engineering solutions utilise data generated from a variety of surveying sensors and are deployed across the world to help our clients maximise the use of their assets.

NM Group is a diverse company that has grown from strength to strength over the last 5 years. As part of this a number of job openings have arisen within our Sales and Bidding team. We are looking for hardworking, dedicated and motivated individuals with experience in either discipline to join our fast paced commercial team located near Woking, Surrey on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on wide-ranging tenders, producing winning, persuasive bids
  • Accountability for bid standards and guidelines
  • Planning and managing the bid from inception through to closure and handing over to Project Managers
  • Responsibility for bid data capture and sharing lessons learnt across the department
  • Serving as an ambassador for best practice bid management
  • Managing relationships including internal and external team members.
  • Contributing to the total effectiveness of the commercial team, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member

And/or

  • Maintain and develop business relationships
  • Lead generation and management
  • Arranging and attending meetings as required to promote the company’s products and services
  • Supporting the UK sales and Business Development Plan and undertaking market research
  • Data input into the CRM and management of the sales cycle
  • Responsibility for bid data capture and sharing lessons learnt across the department
  • Contributing to the total effectiveness of the commercial team, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member

Desired Experience

  • Experience in submitting large and sometimes complex tenders and bids and / or developing small to large business opportunities.
  • Experience in infrastructure engineering or geospatial data application and practice
  • HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant discipline

Required Experience:

  • Strong communication skills and command of both spoken and written English
  • Minimum two years' experience in either discipline
  • Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • An attention to detail
  • Commercial acumen
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
