The Job
As Assistant Land Referencer you shall work alongside and support the team Land Rereferences and Referencing Manager to produce, under CPO legislation; Ownership reports, plans and schedules.
The main responsibilities of the Assistant Land Referencer include:

Researching to ensure that all details are recorded in a consistent and compliant manner.

Producing and servicing Notices in the prescribed manner.

Representing landed interests on plans to accompany both the Application and the Notices.

Liaising with both Local Authorities and other bodies to ascertain details of Special Category lands and public rights of way.

The Production of Order plans and schedules.

Liaising with all property owners and occupiers in all lands within and occasionally adjacent to, limits of deviation to ascertain detailed information regarding the extent and tenure of their interests.
Ideally you shall have a geography background and a degree in a relevant discipline, with experience in a related geography or land referencing sector.
You shall also possess a full clean driving license and be comfortable in driving to sites across the UK.
